Every day before the students come, I set up the classroom for learning. There are a few things that I do in order to set up the classroom.
(1) I make sure that all worksheets are in front of me and ready to go. Possibly separated by groups.
(2) I write the topic of the lesson on the board which can be various subjects such as Homes and Present Tense or Going to the Bank and Making Requests.
(3) I write a schedule on the board and when it comes to dividing the groups – I divide them within the schedule by having three separate columns
(4) I have a question on the board for the early birds to ponder.
(5) I put out snacks.
These preparations make class go so much more smoothly.
